Theme:

Language testing research in China: Past and Future

The past decade has witnessed the construction and release of China’s Standards of English Language Ability, the development of international, national and local language tests and the innovations in existing tests, such as HSK (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi), NETS (National English Test System), and NMET (National Matriculation English Test). These research and development efforts have spurred a wide range of studies on a variety of issues by Chinese and international researchers in the field of language testing and assessment.
