As CALTA2019 is only two days away, we should like you to take note of the following updates for a smooth experience.
1. Conference program会议手册
The latest program is now downloadable from the link provided at the bottom of this webpage. Please note that all parallel sessions are now in Teaching Building 7.
Registration is open in the lobby of TB No. 7 at 4:00–6:00 pm on July 4 and 8:30–9:30 am (This was 9:00–10:00 in the previous notice.) on July 5 for the preconference workshops, then at 4:00–8:00 pm on July 5 for the main conference. Registration continues at the university library at 8:00–12:00 am on July 6.
The regular conference registration fee is 1,000RMB, and 500RMB for students. The regular preconference workshop registration fee is 800RMB, and 400RMB for students. Please present your student ID if you desire to register as a student. We encourage payment by a credit/debit card, including gongwuka (公务卡) for Chinese participants, but cash is also accepted. Please note that we only accept RMB payment. For currency exchange rate and bank charges, please consult your bank.
The official receipt for your registration fee will be available on July 5 afternoon if you only participate in the preconference workshop, or on July 6 afternoon if you attend the main conference. We apologize for the inconvenience this causes, but the financial department of the university has very strict policies to follow in preparing the receipts. Please make sure that your name and/or affiliation are correct at the registration desk.If you need to print the taxpayer ID of your affiliation on the invoice, please present this ID.
3. Pre-conference workshops
Workshops 2 and 3 both use special computer programs. Please bring your own laptop with you. For greater benefit, you may download and experiment with “ministep” and “minifac“ for Workshop 2, or download and experiment with “GENOVA” for Workshop 3. These programs can be downloaded from
