注意事项1(Preconference tips)

As CALTA2019 is only two weeks away, we should like participants to take note of the following tips for a smooth experience.

CALTA2019将于两周后召开,以下是一些实用信息,供您参考。


1. Arrival交通

For those of you who still wonder how to get to the venue, the following webpages are still available:

Please also note that if you arrive on July 4 or July 5, you can register at the lobby of Teaching Building (TB) No. 7. This is the first building you will see once you enter the NORTH ENTRANCE of GDUFS. Registration continues on July 6 at the university library, where the plenary sessions take place.

若您7月4号或5号到达,可在第7教学楼(正对广外北门的第一栋建筑)大厅报到注册,7月6号报到注册地点改为大学图书馆(主会场)。


2. Registration报到注册

Registration is open in the lobby of TB No. 7 at 4:00–6:00 pm on July 4 and 9:00–10:00 am on July 5 for the preconference workshops, then at 4:00–8:00 pm on July 5 for the main conference. Registration continues at the university library at 8:00–12:00 am on July 6. If you arrive earlier than that, you can check into your hotel and have a good rest before meeting us.

报到注册时间和事项安排见下表:

若您提前到达,可先行去酒店入住休息,随后在会场找工作人员办理报到手续。

The regular conference registration fee is 1,000RMB, and 500RMB for students. The regular preconference workshop registration fee is 800RMB, and 400RMB for students. Please present your student ID if you desire to register as a student. We encourage payment by a credit/debit card, including gongwuka (公务卡) for Chinese participants, but cash is also accepted. Please note that we only accept RMB payment. For currency exchange rate and bank charges, please consult your bank.

研讨会会费1000元人民币,学生费用减半(500元);会前工作坊费用800元,学生减半(400元)。若您以学生身份报名,请在缴费时出示学生证。国内参会者现场缴费支持使用信用卡、借记卡或公务卡,不接受现金。请注意,会议仅接受人民币缴费,有关汇率和银行手续费,请咨询开户行。

The official receipt for your registration fee will be available on July 5 afternoon if you only participate in the preconference workshop, or on July 6 afternoon if you attend the main conference. We apologize for the inconvenience this causes, but the financial department of the university has very strict policies to follow in preparing the receipts. Please make sure that your name and/or affiliation are correct at the registration desk.

仅参加会前工作坊不参加正式会议的代表,可于7月5日下午领取发票,参加正式会议的代表于7月6日下午领取发票。因发票需要到学校财务部门统一开具,所带来的不便敬请谅解。报到时务请检查清楚信息,确保您的名字和单位信息正确无误。

4. Meals就餐

All participants who pay the regular or student registration fee will be provided with lunch and dinner on July 5, 6, and 7. Participants of the preconference workshops are provided with dinner on July 4 and 5 as well as lunch on July 5. Please remember to claim your coupons for the meals when you register.

所有正式代表免费参加7月5-7日的午、晚餐。会前工作坊正式参会者参加7月4日晚餐和7月5日午、晚餐。餐券在报到注册时发放。

If you have special need for food due to medical, religious, or other reasons, please inform us by email as soon as possible. We shall try our best to cater for various needs.

因医疗、宗教或其他原因对餐饮有特殊要求的代表,请通过邮件告知我们。我们将尽力满足您的需求。


5. Presentation发言

All the conference rooms are equipped with a PC/projector/loudspeaker for ppt presentation. All you need for presentation is to bring your files in a USB drive.

所有会议室均配备电脑、投影仪、扬声器用于进行幻灯片展示。您只需将展示内容拷贝至优盘带至会议室即可。

Please note that the time allocated for each paper in the parallel sessions is strictly limited to 30 minutes. We generally expect you to complete the presentation within 20 minutes and leave 10 minutes for questions and answers (Q&A). You will be reminded by our student assistant of the time left for your presentation at the last 5, 1, or 0 minute. You may continue your presentation after that, but your Q&A time will be reduced accordingly, so that your total time does not exceed 30 minutes.

请注意,分会场每篇论文的发言时间严格控制在30分钟内。建议您在20分钟内完成发言,留10分钟进行现场问答。会场有学生助理在20分钟发言时间剩余5、1、0分钟时举牌提醒。您可在20分钟后继续发言,但是问答时间也将相应缩短,总时间不超过30分钟。

The parallel sessions are divided into sessions of 90 minutes (for three presentations) or 120 minutes (for four presentations). With rare exceptions, the first presenter of each session is supposed to chair the session of three or four papers. In case the first presenter is absent, the second presenter is expected to chair the session.

分会场每组发言时间为90(三篇论文)或120分钟(四篇论文)。如会议手册未明确指定,则各分会场第一位发言人为该场主持人。若第一位发言人缺席,则由第二位发言人主持。

When a presenter is absent, we generally expect the 30 minutes allocated to this presenter to be left unfilled with another presentation, and the next presenter should only use the 30 minutes allocated to him/her on the schedule. This will give the audience a fair chance to plan their activities.

若某位发言人缺席,相应的发言所占用的30分钟应予空置,即所有发言严格按照制定的时段进行,以便听会者合理安排时间。
